Drug and Alcohol Recovery in Thailand – Part 1
I have some exciting drug and alcohol recovery news! Six months ago, a new rehab center opened in beautiful Phuket, Thailand (pronounced “Poo-ket’ “).
Phuket Addiction Recovery Clinic is owned and operated by two good friends of mine from the UK. My excitement stems from my own high level of ethics, and The PARC, as it is called, is operating under the highest levels of professional ethics. This is always my first concern when considering a rehab referral, and then I look at all other features.
The PARC is a 28-day to 3-month residential recovery program that is 12-Step based, with a blend of Eastern spirituality, a combination that leads to exceptional recovery for those ready to achieve that. The PARC is an 8-bed facility, allowing for very personal treatment. You will not be lost in a crowd.
How much does it cost?
A big question is always about the price. More good news! Quality U.S. rehabs generally cost upwards of $1000 per day. This $30,000.00/month ticket is beyond the reach for so many families. The PARC charges $10,000 for the initial minimum 28-day stay, cash only, and this price reduces for longer substance abuse treatment agreements if made in advance. So, one month is $10,000, 60-days is $18,000 (the most popular choice) and the 12-week cost is $25,000 (known as The PARC Signature Program). In addition, of course, is the transportation costs as well as a 7% Thailand tax. And, get this… if detox is required, these prices even include standard detox medications! Unheard of here in the States.
How do you get in?
Easy… call me. The PARC has asked me to help with U.S. and Canadian drug and alcohol treatment intakes, and I am happy to assist this quality program. U.S. interest in Eastern-based recovery has been taking off for some time now, and I feel honored to be able to assist in the process.
Reach out to me by phone at (413) 221-6805 or by email at dave.innis@phuketarc.com and I will provide an initial intake assessment, then turn you over to The PARC team to finalize the plans.

Note: The PARC will work in concert with your local therapist or other treatment provider during your stay if this will aid in your recovery process. Also, if there is a dual diagnoses, or co-occurring disorder, that secondary issue must be stable, and enough medication should be brought along to last for your stay. The PARC team will further clarify as needed.
At the time of this posting, there are beds available. Reserve yours ASAP.
